Yu-Tao, a student of Professor Iyer, has been awarded the Mahboob Khan Outstanding Liaison Award, a prestigious recognition named in honor of Mahboob Khan, a longtime advocate of the SRC Liaison Program from AMD. The SRC Liaison Program fosters collaboration between university researchers, graduate students, and semiconductor industry professionals. It is one of SRC’s most effective methods for facilitating early access to emerging technologies, directing technological advancements, and ultimately transferring semiconductor innovations from the research environment to industry. Liaisons play a critical role in accelerating the transfer of research findings and technologies to their companies, benefiting the entire semiconductor community. The selection process for this award is highly competitive, with less than 10% of nominees selected, as approximately 30 awardees are chosen from over 300 liaisons across various SRC programs. Yu-Tao’s recognition is a testament to his exceptional contribution to the program. Reflecting on the award, Yu-Tao shared, "I feel incredibly fortunate to have been awarded this honor."
